I am excited to share my very first giveaway on The Cheeky Cow. Family Christian is offering three (3) gift certificates of $5 each to selected winners. These certificates are good online or in stores.

It's that time of year when we're all thinking about the holidays. Why not think about those stocking stuffers? Because, if you're like me, most years they're a last minute toss together of whatever I can find at Wal-Mart on Christmas Eve. In January, I promised myself I'd be more organized when Christmas showed up this year and I started purchasing gifts right away. Now, this has me thinking about how I can make those stockings extra special this year (and in years to come).

Some of the items I found on Family Christian had me thinking of doing themed Christmas stockings this year. Below you will see some of the things that caught my eye. What child doesn't enjoy a good movie? I know my 12 year old son would love this (and he'd be doing one of his movie streaks - as we call them - where he watches a new movie at least 10 times in a row before changing to watch something else). I have to admit, this one caught my eye as well for my baby. Shortly after Christmas she'll be a year old and she's already found her love of watching all things animated.
