#Review & #Giveaway - Waiting Here For You

I am so excited to share this book with you. While I have to admit, I didn't follow the "rules," I will be beginning this book again on December 1.

Your advent journey is dated from November 26 to December 24. I chose to read in the afternoons as it seems to be the quietest time for me over the last few weeks (teething baby - what can I say?). I truly want to start this again on November 26 and read each morning with my cup of coffee, before any children wake up.
There are a few introductory "stories" and one that closes out the book. They fit absolutely wonderful and are perfect for attaining the mood of the season.
Within the pages of this book you will find hope, and faith - leading to encouragement and peace. Quite honestly, this book could not have come at a better time for me. It's the perfect reminder of what our focus should be as the celebration approaches.
Once you are ready to begin (November 26 - remember?), Each day starts out with a "theme" and a bible verse. Followed by reflection and meditation. Then each day closes with a prayer fitting of that day's theme.

I found many of the reflections quite fitting. Many I've often wondered on, but not truly thought on. Meaning, I didn't think about the way and the reasoning behind God's choice to handle certain things. Sometimes faith can be tough. Hoping for good, praying for peace, wondering when suffering will end.

While this book doesn't claim to have answers, it will give you the peace you are searching for to get through your day. It also lets you see that you're not alone - not ever. Not only is God with you, but others are likely feeling the same as you - somewhere - at the same moment.

This was a wonderful way to start my days.

And, I dare you to keep tears from your eyes as you read the story - the continued story - that is started at the beginning of the book. Please, do NOT read ahead (believe me, the struggle was there, I wanted a spoiler, but it was so very worth the wait). Focus on each day and each reflection.

This book shows why I am loving the Family Christian products. You can get your copy (and a few as gifts) here.
